Which streetlights are being installed?
Custom KLED LED luminaires are used for residential roads, highways and tunnels. The existing project describes 21 W residential and 75 W highway and tunnel fixtures.
How does the lighting affect wildlife and glare?
Optics focus light onto the road and limit spill into surrounding areas. KLED commissioned a biodiversity desktop review for the project.

Castries to Choc highway lighting upgrade
KLED plans to upgrade every light on the dual carriageway from Castries to Choc Roundabout by the end of November 2026.
